FloMet launches new website.

I am pleased to announce the establishment of an updated web site for FloMet LLC. This new site is in keeping with FloMet's ongoing efforts to maintain it's leadership role in the metal injection molding (MIM) industry.
Some features of the new site are :

A new “smart” search engine. In addition to finding the locations on the web site for words or phrases searched for that are on our site (standard search engine), the engine will also “convert” searches for alloys that are not on our site per se to the compatible alloys that we do have on our site.
Dynamic case studies that demonstrate actual solutions to customer requirements using the metal injection molding technology.
Integration of the metal injection molding technology of FloMet LLC with the hermetic glass sealing technology of Tekna Seal LLC.
Technical papers that FloMet has published that would be of specific interest to anyone who needs a solution to a metal part issue.
An Ask the Tech section that allows one to submit questions to the various technical experts at FloMet.
New secure server features that protect all data transmitted to and from the FloMet web site by using the highest level of encryption (128 bit) thus making such data safe from any third party on the Internet.

Case Study # 3

Component: Curved Scissor Blades

Challenge: To develop a coining process that would produce consistent dimensions throughout the length of the curved blade thus assuring blade interference for cutting efficacy.

Solution: Use of controls, including SPC, to step up and maintain coining and monitor of the coining process.
